Aladdin System

This may sound like a dumb question but the owners manual for my 06 Camelot and several references in threads in this forum refer to an 'Aladdin' system. I don't find one on my unit. Shoud I have one and just have not found it yet? Where should it be?
Thanks for any advice!!

It's an optional item and provides readings for all the key items like oil temp, tranny temp, outside air temp, direction of travel, speed , battery charge state, etc. You have most of the info on your dash...this is the computerized version. On mine, it shows up on my little tv screen that my cameras also use.

The system panel is mounted on the left side by the driver (along with the jack controller, etc.) It is about 3 inches by 3 inches...hard to miss if you have one.

The Aladdin System is usually a standard option in the Camelot and Scepter models, it can,t be missed , a large screen above the radio, which gives all info related to Engine, trans, and performance. If you have a Build Sheet, it will indicate Aladdin, in the options. The owners manual also has a section devoted to Aladdin.

My Windsor is nearly the same as the Camelot. My bet is when your coach was new, it had the Aladdin. Mine displays the engine, trans and other 'stuff' on the camera monitor/ There should be a joy stick near it to scroll through the screens.

Not sure how long you've owned the coach, but it is possibly the previous owner removed it for what ever reason. I believe repair parts are not available anymore and when it dies, it's toast. Many replace it with a silverleaf or similar system.

Ours was dead when we bought the coach in 2011. The techs we talked with about it said that they were notorious for failing and we decided it wasn't worth the money or effort to try and make it work. We lived without it for several years and have since installed Silverleaf in a small notebook computer on the dash.

Aladdin System

Thanks for all the input and I agree that it would be hard to miss if I had it. The owners manual talks about it and it doesn't say it was optional like some of the items it talks about. I don't have a build sheet but I will have to get one from Monaco. Thanks again!!
