Does anyone know if the rear thrust angle is adjustable on the roadmaster chassis?

I'm not sure what you mean by thrust angle, but if you're talking drive shaft alignment, it would be changed by ride height adjustments.

Thrust angle is the direction that the rear wheels are pointing in relation to the center line of the vehicle.

Okay....I know that as dog walking.....I think a frame shop would have to do some bending to change that angle. I've always been amazed at how they mount that huge metal "H" assembly on the four airbags and it comes out going straight. I've never noticed any adjustable points.

On my steer axle I have wear on the right outside and left inside of the tires. From the research I've done It's dog walking.

I guess a truck alignment shop should be able to do a 4 position alignment. I know guys talk about these local RV repair places or truck stores who handle their RV's when needed. I live in Los Angeles and only found one shop that is competent and it's in Colton, Ca. That's about 100 miles away. Good luck in finding a shop. They should be able to adjust that up for you.

Maybe move those two front tires to the left rear and bring those up front after you get it corrected.

Look for a shop that does lazer alignment and yes they do the rear end too.

If the thrust angle is wrong, you will also wear out the inside rear tires - even worse than the fronts.

Yes, the thrust angle is adjustable, but only a little bit. My '02 endeavour required a dismount and re-attachment of the whole assembly to align because it required over 1/2 inch of adjustment and there wasn't that much available.

May be a long way for you, but they are the best in the country. Freightliner had this problem with some of their chassis, but I have not heard of a Roadmaster having it. Please let us know if this is what is really found.

Are these guys good? I recall hearing of a tire/alignment shop that was top notch w/ motorhomes.
We'll be at Ft. Wilderness in 2-wks.

Wear all the way across the inner rear tires.
My inner rear tires were legally bald at 17,000 miles because of the bad alignment of the rear axle. Monaco finally agreed to pay for the alignment, but I had to eat the pair of tires.
I only noticed the issue when I had to drag a freshwater hose under the rv after dark once in order to reach a really badly located faucet, and noticed the bald tires in the flashlight beam - outer tires are still on the rig to this day at close to 60k miles and have plenty of tread left. Fronts were also still good and, although moved to the rear when I put new the new tires on the front, are also still on the rig today.

I have the same wear on my 32' Monaco. I think mine is caused by heavy left side winds coming back from Florida at Xmas. The side winds push the front of this motorhome when I run lower pressure in the front tires(rides better) and I should have increased the pressure 15 lbs more.
