The outside temperature reading on my Alladin Jr reads incorrectly at times and normal at other times. I'm trying to locate the outside temp sensor and the compass/temperature module. I've talked to Monaco tech support, but they tell me it's an Indiana unit and they don't know where the module or sensor is located. The wiring drawing says the cable from the junction box under the dash to the compass/temperature module is 25 ft long. I've traced the wire going to the module thru the fire wall and heading back somewhere. I've looked in all the compartments with no luck.

They tell me on a Monaco Diplomat the temp sensor is located by the drivers mirror and the module is under the dash, neither is true for my unit. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Dennis

My PDQ has the temp module screwed to the ceiling of the water pump compartment. Go to the last past through bay, take the access door panel of toward the rear and then look for the module on the ceiling. Mine came with the outside tmp and bay temp wires reversed. It was just a matter of swapping the cables. Once you find it, you can trace from there. I hope it is in the same spot as mine, for you sake.

In general the modules are mounted to the celling of storage bays. I think they are labeled as to the function they perform.

I found the elusive little guy!! It is mounted above the fuel tank on the curb side of the coach, guess you never know where they're going to mount stuff.

Thanks
