Hi all, can someone tell me why my monitor reads right to left rather than from left to right? It is like reading it looking through a mirror.

Check the settings on the system, or the monitor, there may be an image reverse setting that has been changed. Does the monitor display the rear camera image? Is it reversed too?

Hi & thank you for your reply. I have gone through all my settings and none of them seem to relate to this problem. Yes, it does display the cameras and the side cameras are reversed.......as if appearing that vehicles are coming on the wrong side of the coach

I found the PDF for what I think is your system. Here is a Link to it. It looks like you use the Input Setup Menu to change the image setting. Not a lot of words in the manual but on the Input Setup Menu you will see the word mirror. Changing that setting from what is now to the opposite should reverse the image. To get to the Input Setup Menu you press the Menu button and then use the up and down keys to highlight Input Setup then press Select to enter the setup menu. You use the + - volume keys to cycle through the choses for each input (ON Normal, On Mirror, Off) once you have each input set correctly press the Menu key to return to the main menu.

Hi Dave & Jeri, I just got back in the house from my motorhome. I followed your valuable directions and it worked like a charm. Thank you very very much......saves me standing on my head when I am trying to read the monitor........not easy to do when your driving. I really appreciate you contacting me. All the best.

Hopefully someone can help me help a friend with a similar problem even though it is a Sony system in a Winnebago. He replaced his monitor with a rebuilt unit. Now the image is reversed. He hooked up the camera to "B" instead of "A" and I am assuming that is the problem? I hope there is some way to reprogram it like discussed here but there is no "menu" button on his unit. It is a fairly major job to get this unit out of the dash to change the plug to "A". I have spent a lot of time on the net trying to find some help or manual from Sony with no luck. I know sometimes there are secret ways to get into some electronics like push the on button 16 times, stand on your left foot and turn around in 3 circles etc., etc. Anyone out there know the secret?
