Allison 3000 MH serial number

Hi Everyone,

I didn't receive a Allison Transmission Manual with my new 2007 Diplomat.

I was not aware that I am supposed to have a Transmission filter change at 5000 Miles.

I have been reading through some of the posts and there seems to be a question as to the need to change it after a certain serial number.

Can someone please guide me on how to find the serial number?

Unfortunately I already have 8700 miles on my Coach

You'll have to find the metal tag on the side of the transmission, it will have your serial number printed on it.

Look down through the floor hatch in the back. We had one on the top of the tranny that was readable.

Depending on the serial number, you may not need filter changes at 5000 miles.

I recently called Monaco and got the Data Card for my 05 SAFARI. It has a lot of very good info. They emailed it to me within minutes. I have found them very helpful for questions.
