If you take the sender out you will find a part number on it. Then you can find it on line,
that's what I did.

Hi LoydT; Try putting in a search in the box at the top right of this page with your question. Has come up several times and owners have posted the source and the part number. I write a lot of that stuff down, but don't seem to have that one in my notes. Let us know what you find and good luck!

8.3Oilbuner Thanks for your help. I put Allison, Transmission, and other in the search and did not find the pn for that sender unit. I enjoy your inputs. You are very knowledgeable. Thanks Lloyd

Hi again Lloyd; I did some digging, but don't know exactly if these are the numbers you need. One is a Monaco part number for a 2003 Allison 3000 series trany. Monaco part# 4049. Also found a VDO part number of 323-095. I had an 2000 Windsor with the 3060 Allison and my current 01 Windsor has the 3000 series. Remembering the 2000 and looking at the 01, I don't see any difference. Both were mounted in the same place, the transmission cooling line. See if those numbers help you and let us know what happens. Good luck!
