Robin_M mounted a carrier for an air hose in the generator compartment. Does this mean that an air hose can be connected to the air fitting in front to use the coach to inflate the tires?
I bought a small 150psi Air Lift compressor which works, but is PAINFULLY SLOW in adding even 5 lbs to these tires. Looking for a better way.

Just remember to start your engine first, those tires take a large volume of air.

So do you guys have a quick connect/disconnect attached to your air pressure line and keep it 'at the ready' to attach to the front pressure attachment? I LIKE IT!! Tell me more!

That connection is designed for tow trucks to hook up their air brakes to MH.The connection is different from ever day H/D or auto store type.DO NOT CHANGE THAT CONNECTION.If you ever need a tow their connection want fit your change out.

The air connection is adjacent to the propane tank on my coach. It is a standard quick connector. I have a 50 foot air hose with a male quick connection on one end and female quick connection o the other end. I also have a truck style inflator/pressure gauge that I can connect, making tire pressure adjustment very simple.
I would NOT recommend keeping the hose connected all the time to the coach's air system. Should the rubber hose get a leak, problems with the air bags and brakes may be affected. You don't want that!! A flexible air hose is much more likely to get a leak than the hard piped coach air system. Connect it when you need it.
Another issue is your tire pressure compared to the pressure the coach air compressor comes on. If the coach air system is at 95# and you need 100# in your tires, then you will need to get the compressor to come on and pump up the coach system to 120# or wherever the normal shutoff point is on your coach.
With my truck inflator/pressure gauge, I can bleed off pressure until the coach compressor comes on and then fill the tires while system pressure is high.

Good point Les,
I deffinately have to have the engine running for the air compressor to work. Even then, the air pressure in the tires are sometimes more than the start up pressure in the coach tanks. I have to bleed off air from the tanks by pumping the breaks or using the bleed off switch to get the air down far enough to get the compressor running again. Hmmm.....I'm going to have to get one those tire guages with the air fill handle on it. Sounds way easier and faster than going in and out of the coach to bleed air.
On my coach, the quick connect air fitting is in the electrical bay buy the driver. That's where I also have my 50' air hose rolled up. Disconnected, of course. A VERY good point on THAT Les!

I've never had any problem inflating the tires from the coach air compressor - I keep the tires at 105 in front and 95 on the duels - but there could be those times when the compressor may not kick on right away.
The only inconvenience connected with using the coach compressor is that you have t start the engine, and I don't ever like to start my engine unless I'm going to be running it for a while to bring it up close to operating temperature. So I have to remember to leave enough time to check my air when I'm ready to start driving somewhere. Still, IMHO, that beats having to deal with a seperate compressor when there's already one onboard.
