Amber Warning
I have 2005 Monoco Dynasty which just began displaying amber warning light. I have checked engine oil level, coolant level, and trans. Since, this displays at cold startup, I don’t suspect any connection to high temps. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Get an obdII code reader or use the engine diagnostics on your monitoring system if you have one. With out a code you can only make guesses as to one of a thousand causes. One common issue is if you start the engine without waiting for the "wait to start" light to go out it will cause that light to illuminate. 3 cycles of starting it correctly will put it out.

Dynasty should be a diesel pusher, no OBD on them. Need a silverleaf or scangauge to read codes on them.

I'm pretty sure I can plug and obdII reader into mine with an adapter. I could be mistaken though as I haven't actually tried it.

Usually when you get the light for a short period after startup it's the low coolant sensor. Top off the coolant with a Cummins approved coolant.
Hope this helps.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!
I would get the OBDII reader! Hope you find the problem.
Just noticed you are kinda new on IRV2 and wanted to say hello!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
