I wonder why I the one with all these weird problems? My InstaHot dispenser has just a slight trickle. I've removed the screen at the spout but no help. According to the manual, it sounds just like a clogged filter and the little bit of water I do get, seems to smell a bit like the antifreeze I used in my coach last winter. Prior to winterizing I removed all water filters but could not find one for the InstaHot. The manual shows it under the sink beside the InstaHot box but there is no InstaHot filter under my sink nor anyplace else I can locate. Contacted Monaco tech and he states there might not be one and he doesn't have any suggestions other than the utility bay. I can't find it there either but based on what's happening with my InstaHot, I'm pretty sure there's a clogged filter somewhere.... have any of you found that filter in a strange location?

Bill, I have never found a filter that is just for the InstaHot. There is a drain plug on the bottom which is a real pain to get to because a shelf is right below the unit. Did you drain the InstaHot for the winter or did you just run anti-freeze through it? If I remember correctly I get the water from the InstaHot from the cold water line that goes to the sink faucet. I have never seen a inline filter for the InstaHot. They use thin plastic tubing for the water line I wonder if it is kinked somewhere but I don't know why it should suddenly kink over the winter. I know that it does take a long time to fill up the empty tank on the InstaHot because the supply line is not a real big diameter. I will be going over to the Sig this weekend and I will trace out the water line and see exactly how they did mine and will let you know.

On my Instahot there is no inline filter of any sort.
If you keep the instahot faucet hold open, it will help escape the air and fill up quicker.
