Antifreeze Gallons

I have a 2005 beaver with a 400 hp cat engine how much anti freeze does it take

The 2005 Beaver Patriot with 525 hp CAT engine takes 10 gallons. I think we both have the same radiators. Its 5 gallons water and 5 gallons (concentrated) antifreeze.
Your Owner's manual will have the specs.

I don't think it is 10. I've put 14 in mine when it split a heater hose at the AH and dumped all its coolant on the 805 in San Diego. Fixing the hose was easy, finding 13 gallons of heavy diesel extended life coolant in San Diego was a challenge.

I think it takes 16.

Your right Paul - sorry Sparks1. I should know better than to go off memory at my age.

I looked it up, it is 65 quarts (16 gallons).
