Anyone got a good suggestion to get antifreeze into the p-trap? The drain hose doesn't want to budge and it doesn't leave much room through the access hole. Being in the sunny south, I usually just pour antifreeze into the drains. Do I need some kind of pump? Thanks for any help!

Put it in the washer and let it run through. 1/2 gallon in tub.

That would require me learning how to operate it!

...which would also get anti-freeze into the pump!! ...but if you don't know how to run it, you probably have never got any water into the pump, so no worries about that I guess...

The book for the washing machine will tell you how to winterize it. What it tells me to do is to put about a 1/2 gallon into the tub and put it into the spin cyle then the pump runs and fills the pump and the trap up in one go.

If it is the same machine as we have make sure you read about first putting the dial on REST and pushing the PWR ON button and then off before your turn the dial. If I don't do that then the dial will just start turning fast by itself.
