DW wants to replace the couch in our 07 Diplomat with a new J Lounge and after pricing the Flexsteel at $2800 (wow), she found a company locally here that makes one at half the cost. I believe you get what you pay for but at less than half of the cost of the Flexsteel $1000, I want to compare and find out why the dramatic cost difference. The company has been in business for 30 years.

Any advice or experiences whith Stratford furniture would be appriciated.

Hi MM,
I'm not sure but I have heard of stratoloungers. We are going to set an appointment and go to the factory. Supposedly Villa Furniture sells some of there furniture but that is not verified. At half the cost for a similar looking J lounge from Flexsteel I have to look. Thanks for the reply and I will report my findings.

Hi Jim,

Stratford RV furniture is located here in California. After looking at Flexsteel, Stratford, and Villia furniture,(all located in California) DW wants the Villa J lounge. It it about $800 more than the Stratford and looks to be much better quality in our opnion.

My friend used Discount RV Furniture for a couch and recliner. When the couch arrived in Phoenix, it was too long and too high. They didn't adjust for the known slideout floor. He called and went to CA. They built him a new one and installed and sent him on his way. Very professional.

Hi Hardy 1000-
We removed the brown J Lounge from our 2007 40SFT to install Human Touch Ht-125 massage chair. The J Lounge is store at home. Are you northern CA or southern CA?

Jim,

We went to Villa Furniture today and ordered the J lounge. Very nice folks to work with and great quality furniture. Monaco uses Villia in the Dynasty, Executive, and Signature. Take a look at there web they will build it the way you want it and costs just a little more than Flexsteel.

Del & Lori:
I think you made a good choice. We took Villa out of our coach, and put Discount in. The quality seems good, and over the long term I'm sure that we will enjoy the furniture. It was difficult working with them to get our furniture received as ordered.
Next time we'll probably use someone else, like Villa.

We are looking for a J lounge for our 2002 Holiday Rambler Imperial.
How long is your brown J lounge?
How light or dark is the shade of brown?

Joe & Margie
