Hello everyone,

Just wondering if there are any riptide owners here. I picked up a 2010 33sdd with only 6000 miles on it. The PO never used the water, toilets, shower, or sinks. They bought it new thinking they would use it all the time but only went on a few day trips. Super excited to use it this summer. Anyone have any suggestions, advice on these units?

I would be most concerned with the lack of use. Give the unit a good check-out, especially the generator, most likely the unit will have issues from lack of use. Use the unit several times, close to home, until you feel confident everything is working.

I think with any used unit, unless there's up to date maintenance records, you should change all oil/air filters in the engine and generator, and lube the chassis. I'd also go so far as to flush the brake fluid. This will give you a good maintenance base to start off with. Most of the other(house)stuff either works or it doesn't. Good luck with the new rig.
