After getting all of our previous new-vehicle bugs ironed-out by Monaco-Service (hmmmm, why would you ever WANT to iron a bug???), we thought it would be clear-sailing from now on, but it was not to be.

The frig had been slowly but surely telling us it needed some attention, as I had to keep bumping-up the temp setting just to keep the beer cool, and finally found there was no more adjustment. A panic call and rush trip to Wildwood Service netted us an emergency-spot for the next available service-tech after the Holiday.

So, now we sit and wait our turn. So far, I've washed/vacuumed the coach and toad, did the prescribed preventative-maintenace on both, walked the dog a zillion times, and just plain enjoyed having nowhere to go and no schedule to do it on. I have complete faith in Monaco to make things right, so I ain't worried a bit. Ok, maybe just a little... can I still get ice for the beer tomorrow?

Anyone else scheduled in here this week? I'll bring the beer (if you like it warm).

... well, I was hoping to meet some good folks from the forum while there, but I guess you're all out rv'ing instead (which is a much better thing to be doing).

However, we did run into some old friends from back home that we hadn't seen in several years. Was a weird feeling to look at him from a distance and be thinking "Gee, is that Jerry? Naw, can't be, they're 1500 miles from here". But it was, they were en-route to a new job and had scheduled a stop to get some work done.

Also ran into a couple that we got to know the first time we were at Wildwood. And they were talking to people they'd known from back home too.

So, I guess these roads ain't that long after all.
