Wondering if anyone has bought a 2011 Monaco? Like it? Quality? Where did you get it?

Hi Steve,
Cool name!
Yes I bought a 2011 Monaco Monarch 33SFS in January of this year at DeMartini in Grass Valley,CA.
I noticed that not one of the switches had labels on the switch plates saying what they are. There are 6 switches by the stairs and it's a joke trying to figure out what's for what. I keep turning off all the lights by mistake. Called DiMartini up about it and that's how 2011's are being built. Said he would have someone get switch plates at factory and ship them. That was over 2 months ago. Said they found them but they never came. I called Monacco and ordered all switch plates from model year 2009. They arrived.
When I had ordered coach from DiMartini, I contacted Monacco coach to get MSRP sheet giving them the vin number of coach we were buying. We had seen so many used Monarchs we were buying new sight unseen on Internet. When I got the sheet from Monacco, they had the package price for their standard option package, around $3000, and then each individual item for the option WITH individual price. The total MSRP was the sum of option package plus the individual items! By this time I found this we were too committed. We live in Ventura county and Grass Valey is up near Lake Tahoe.

Sorry, ran into problem.
Most of coach seems to be in good condition but paint seems to have some checking in a few spots. Don't know what to do about that.
Stove top wasn't attached and the electric sewer pump thing that I paid twice for (once in package once as individual line item), is just sitting in a box. Was never installed.
One added bonus. Coach came with a larger flat screen in the bay for watching TV
Outside. There was no mention of this on any MSRP sheet or paperwork. Only problem is we have never watched tv otside, have no desire to, and can't figure out how to release the bracket to make it slide out. Could use it in the house though! Don't have a flat screen in the house.
Coach is a lot noisier wth rattling when driving than I expected. radio doesn't work well.
On the whole I think it is put together well. Don't understand how a lot of things work yet.
Nice coach.

Sorry you had so many issues. I bought my mh from DeMartini. Had a great experince with them. I am surprised they are selling Monaco. They were stiffed big time by Monaco when they went under.

Hope your mh sorts itself out and you enjoy it.

Steve, any chance you have the part number and price for those plastic plates. My corners are broken and I would like to replace them. Not labeling them was just plain cheap and dumb. I have an 08 Endeavor bought at De-Martini in Grass Valley. I have been extremely happy with their sales and service. They repaired my mh window even though Monaco went under right after the purchase.

The manual is 250 pages or so and I have to re-read it once in awhile. It is amazing I'm still learning new tricks.

We recently bought the 2011 Monaco Riptide from MHSRV.com in Alverado, TX, the price was right (74,911.00 with 2000 in gas cards). It has had a few bugs to work out, the chasis battery went south as soon as we got home. Turns out someone had switched it at the dealership for an old worn out battery. Nothing major anywhere else. It has a lot of storage, inside and out. rides really nice, I did learn that you need to line all the dishes so nothing rattles. Common sense should have kicked in but I think mine was turned off when I was loading the bus. Sweet coach!

Steve,
We just got into a 2011 Monaco Diplomat, pd5. We purchased it at Lazydays in Tampa. Thus far the coach has been great. The guys at Lazydays made the experience easier than that of a new car purchase. I would recommend Lazydays to anyone looking for a great deal and great service.

Purchased a Diplomat 43dft, from GuarantyRV in Junction City, Oregon. Really like the coach and that 425hp engine. GuarantyRV has an awsome service department, as they sent a tech 110 miles to make a repair to my coach when my wife was ill and we couldn't take it in. Also, the air bag suspension makes for a great ride....

Just purchased our Diplomat from DeMartini in Grass Valley. Couldn't ask for a better experience! However, we only have 80 miles on it, so use is non-existent, we're still repacking the bins.
So far everything works, as far as I know.

Recently bought a 2011 Monaco Vesta. Have had only 2 problems, transfer switch and electric step, both solved with trip to Raper RV in Indiana. Great service. Believe dealer reputation is as important as to the manufacturer ( within reason) . Vesta is a FRED. Have 5000 miles and getting 14.6MPG, but I travel @ 55MPH. Economy @ 65MPG will be approx 12. Pretty good for a 32ft. Like the air brakes and air ride, great storage. We had B+ models before and space was very limited
