APEX Carefree Awning

Okay, all you Monaco folks, John here. Met most of you in Q this past year. Thanks again for your welcome to the campfire.
I'm having an awning issue. When I try to extend the awning, I can hear the motor running, but either the back side extends (not the front), or nothing. I hear the arms trying to "work", but nothing. I tried to call Carefree and got some lady who sounded like she couldn't be bothered. I've looked at all the schematics Harry gave me and have also downloaded all appropriate service manuals.
I'm currently in Upper State NY.

Any Ideas

I have two of them, but haven't had any trouble except a burned out controller, so I'll watch for answers

I have a 2008 Camy live not to far from your home town. My front motor had a gear issue. Called cCarefree sent me new gear drive. Also try REV they are in Indiana, they might have suggestions. Have you pulled the end covers off yet, have someone activate while you are observing, that's how I found mine.
