I have a 2003 monaco exc.
the unit works great when on furnace. electric or deisel. but has no hot
water. has anyone got any ideas or possibly a print of plumbing.

Check the mixing valve just inside cover. You can trace the blue line in and the red line out and see the mixing valve. Hot water is the simplest part of AH. No pumps or thermostats just thermodynamics. http://www.aquahot.com/Library.aspx has the manuals.
Read this thread. There is a photo of the mixing valve. Exercise the valve both forwards and backwards keeping track of where you started at so it comes back to the same position.
