Aqua Hot acting funny

I have a 2008 Dynasty with a Aqua hot 600 that has the two electric elements. The unit runs and hesitates on and off, on and off. Then may run smooth for awhile then again start hesitating. Put in a new thermostat and that was not the problem. Has anyone had this problem. The water and antifreeze level is ok and the unit does have hot heat but the blower is what is going off and on.

6 months ago but what would that have to do with it? We use the Diesel part of our aqua hot one a month for an hour just to exersize the unit but 90 % of the time we use the 2 electric elements to get our heat and showers. Maybe I am wrong but I can't see how that would cause the fan to keep cutting on and off.

Pls explain what you mean by a "fan". Do you mean the zone blowers in each room area or the blower when you are using diesel? Which one is running intermittently?

My heat exchangers will cycle like that as well on electric. I think they just lower the temp of the antifreeze, shut off till the electric elements get the tank back up to temp, and come back on.
Try it on diesel. they will probably continue to run till the room hits your set temp.

I don't think the thermostat knows whether you are using diesel or electric. And my zone blowers will work even if the water is not up to temp. I'm thinking you need to go thru the thermostat reset program.

Your heat exchangers will blow cool air if the tank is'nt up to temperature?
Mine will shut down till the tank has recovered.

Thermostat is probably the issue.

I also have an issue with my Aqua Hot. Sometimes when the unit goes into cool down mode, it sounds like the fan in the Aqua Hot is pulsating and takes what seems a long time to shut down. The last time we used the coach was last November and while at Alliance (Florida) we tried to get the Aqua Hot to act up so Ed could diagnose the problem. The thing worked perfectly. I still do not know what the problem is and would be more comfortable with the unit if I could find the problem. Although the coach has been parked for (too long), I do run all systems to reach operating temperatures monthly. Hoping to leave out this fall for a few months and would be nice to know what is happening with the Aqua Hot. I would appreciate any suggestions from some of our more experienced people.

Thanks,

PS I did not mention that the Aqua Hot was serviced in November 2013 by Alliance of Florida. Ed suggested that we hold off on servicing until the problem is diagnosed so they could take care of every thing on one service.

Someone smarter than me will have to tell you the sequence of buttons pushed. When you know the sequence it will take you all of 30 seconds. Anybody know it?
