I searched this question on several RV sites, but no luck.
There are many topics about not having enough heat using just the electric
furnace, as well as having to use electric space heaters even with Aqua-Hot when in really cold areas.
Seems to me, if you could use both Aqua-Hot AND the heat pump side of the a/c, it would be enough heat for about any outside temp.
If this is possible, please share instructions, as I am not the brightest bulb
on the street.
Thanks,

Heat pumps do not produce much heat when the temp goes below freezing. I have both but have never needed more than Aqua-hot. Check with Monaco but I don't think you can select both to run at the same time.

Billy, I don't think the heat pump will do anything at all below 35 or so. AquaHot should keep you warm like Clark said.

Billy.......System will not allow you the use BOTH at the same time. On ours the heat pumps are very effective down to 40 degrees outside temp. The Aqua hot heat works great in bedroom and bath area. The kitchen and living area could use another outlet, but keeps it warm.....just not as toasty as bed and bath area (probably because of size--two large slides)

The Aqua Hot should keep you toasty.
The choice of Aqua Hot or heat pump is controlled by our thermostat. You have to choose one, it won't let you choose both.

Yes, I agree with all the posts. My Aqua-Hot works great, but it would be nice to use the electric element of the Aqua-Hot, and also the a/c heat pump before firing up the smelly diesel burner, say between 40 and 30 degrees, while in a RV park.
But, it is what it is.
Thanks,

Just asking can the electric element be increased in size for more output?
Have you got the correct size element?
