Thanks to all the info from others, I have winterized the fresh
water loop on the A/H and have tested the electric heating portion.
With our weather being fairly cold right now, I managed to get a little heat to
flow in the living area heat exchangers, but not a lot.
At the dash, however, the fan was blowing warm air only out the two round
rotating vents on either side of the steering column.
What controls where the heat is suppose to come from? I would like the heat to
come out all the vents in the front especially to get heat to the co-pilot.
Thanks, Iver
2000 Sig.

I don't know how, but I can confirm that our 2000 Signature blows air out all 4 upper dash round rotating vents with zone 1 AH heat on and ignition key off.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Hi Topman, how cold is it outside? If you are trying to heat the MH using just the electric element in the Aqua Hot and it is below 50* then it is only going to produce luke warm air. You need to fire up the diesel furnace if you are parked. I still leave the electric heating element turned on to help cut down the use of diesel fuel. I have neve really paid any attention to the dash vents when on Aqua Hot. I though it came out of all the same vents as the regular chassis heat system and the reguylar fan helps blow it out. guess I need to really take a close look at that.

Hi Mike,
Actually I was just testing the electric part of the AquaHot. I didn't think it would heat all that well when it is around 38*F. But at least I know now that it is working.
The coach is currently stored inside my shop so I can't use the diesel part right now and I think the coach air has now drained out. So, does the coach need to be aired up in order to re-direct the air controls on the dash?
I took the cover off the vent at the floor level below the center of the dash. Inside behind a bunch of vent hoses was an open moveable flap that looked like it was from a heat exchanger.
Lonestarace......
Can you control which vents the heat comes from by moving the heater control on the dash??
Thanks, Iver.

At 38* barely warm is all you are going to get out of the electric heating element. No the Sig does not need to be aired up to use the Aqua Hot

With the ignition off, NO. The AH blows at a set speed from the upper 4 dash vents only.
With the ignition on, Yes. The AH stops blowing and now the heater core fluid from the Cummins and dash blower fan can blow air from any(upper, lower, defrost) and all dash area vents.
