On my 05 Dynasty the diesel switch is adjacent to the electric switch in the panel in front of the sink.

On my unit the thermostatic switch located in the liquid bath which turns on the diesel burner also turns on the electric element in the Aquahot unit, depending upon which or both switches up in the coach are selected. I have had that sensor fail. I was able to diagnose that by observing the electric load draw on the Alladin display. If the load does not increase and all the fuses are good it may be the thermostat switch. I am not sure if an 01 has the Alladin but perhaps some other instrumentation which could give you that information.

Aquahot has a very good manual with diagnostic procedures online.
