Aqua hot furnace questions Monaco dynasty
Hello still working on all of the systems on our new to us 2000 dynasty. We have a aqua hot water furnace and hot water heater. The question I have is the water gets hot out of the spigots. But when I turn the heater furnace on the registers come on but no heat the lines going into them are cold what am I doing wrong. It has two zones I put both on furnace and I hear the burner light but no heat out of them. Also how do I turn the temperature up for the domestic hot water. All help greatly appreciated.

Outside on the passenger side water bay you should have 4 brass check valves towards the rear top of the AquaHot . Feel both sides or hit them with an infrared thermometer. Lightly tap these with a small hammer will likely free them up.

Your domestic water has a mixing valve to cool the outbound hot water down to 120°, adjustable up to 160°. I think your model looks like this.

Thanks guys your help got everything working. Tapping on the circulators got them pumping again and I got the valve turned up a little hotter. Another question can I run the heater while driving to heat the rv?

You should have a switch on the drivers side panel that says engine heat, which will pre heat the engine for ease of starting in cold weather. Keep this switch on while driving and you can heat your coach with the hot water in the cooling system of your engine.

Don't quot me on this but I believe I read somewhere in a Manuel that you can't use that engine preheat while driving?

I think you will get the engine heat while driving without turning on the preheat pump. We do not have the preheat pump but engine coolant is pumped through the Hydrohot. So we have hot water and heat going down the road.

2003 dynasty AH 100 series one 1500 elect element. I do not have to touch any dash buttons to get furnace thermometer to send 75 degree heat to the front registers and 70 to middle and rear zones. I do not have the ah switches on either 110 or diesel . The Eng. coolant goes thru the unit and makes plenty of heat.
