Many of you (spell that us) have plenty to complain about our coaches and service. I want to tell you about a very good experience with Winegard.

I have had a problem with my video switch. Had to push sat or cable buttons many times to get decent pictures on fron and back TV's. I called Winegard merely for tech assistance. Thought maybe they had an easy solution. Got in touch with a very helpfull Tom Rauch who immediately figured I had a defective box. I emailed him "prof of purchace" (less than 2 years old) and he sent me a new box overnight. They even paid freight to send the old unit back.

I had a similar experience a while back with fantastic vent. No hassle. Sent me free parts even though I told them I broke it.

There are lots of good helpful vendors out there and if you know which end of a screwdriver to hold, a phone call or an email and a few minutes of your own labor can save lots of frustration and expense driving to a dealer.

Arby...you have brought up a great point. Sometimes we can bypass everyone else and go directly to the original Vendor.

MM

PS... we are on our third Winegard box!

I did that last year with Thetford when the controller unit went bad on our mascerating pump toilet. They sent me a new one, and I had it within 2 days. Even though the coach was still under warranty, that was SOOO much easier than dealing with Monaco or the dealer. I've seen a lot of people complain about Thetford customer service, but I thought they were great.
