Atwood Furnace won't light

Hi to All at IRV2 I have a 2003 HR Endeavor dual furnaces. One starts and run's fine the other try's to start but won't. The green light on the control board comes on then after a moment turns to red. It does this three times then stays on red and the blower keeps running. The furnace is an Atwood model 8535 IV- dclp. All fuses seem good. Tried blowing it out with an air compressor. No luck. Do those in the know think it's the circuit board or the igniter? Or something else? Just got back from a two day trip to Starve Rock SP. in Il. and it would get awful cold in the front end of the coach in the morning, while the wife and pooch were still huddled in the warm bedroom. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.
PS When it try's to start you smell gas outside next to the furnace.

You should be able to hear the igniter "snap" or spark as its trying to light... if not it's possible the ignitor is bad or what I would do first is remove the high tension wire running back to the control board and clean the terminal real well and try again.

If you can hear it snapping make sure you can see the spark back in the pocket and not outside the burner area - the porcelain on those can crack over time and cause it to create the spark along the porcelain outside the burner area, thus never lighting the LP.

It sounds like this may be your problem? Use a common screw driver and unscrew the two screws to the heater lid out side open the little black plastic cover and inside to the left of the squirrel cage is a
(little black switch looking thing ) breaker switch cut the switch off and on a couple times to reset the breaker.

Question Did you find the problem??

I know this is an old thread but I have the same problem (mine is a 2002) with the rear furnace running fine but front one not lighting. The symptoms sound exactly the same. Hoping you can point me in the right direction. Thanks

Here is a link to a trouble shooting guide for the furnace.

Troubleshooting the RV Furnace

It provides step by step to work though.

I've never had a problem with mine so I can't point you in the right directions but the above should help. I actually saved this to PDF for my files.
