Toggle is an add-on to remove any power to compressor.

If it's tank gets low the compressor will top it up, system powered on or not. You sure your tank drain is fully closed?

The compressor works off the pressure switch mounted close by, irrespective of whether the system is turned on or off. The only way to disable the compressor is as you have done is pulling the CB or fuse.

Let me add a few things here. 1. The aux air compressor does not fill the air tanks. It feeds directly into the leveling system. 2. The only time the compressor comes on is when the main tank pressure feeding the leveling system is low and the leveling system issues a raise command to a section of the leveling system.

Mike, I think your system is different than the Power Gear/ Valid system.
Mine most definatly has its own air tank. It's accesable from the generator compartment, on the passenger side.
Also, the Valid system does'nt continuosly monitor level and make small adjustments. If the system is left powered up in auto mode, it 'wakes up' every two hours, and makes any adjustments that need to be made, then goes back to sleep for another two hours.

Ok, good to know. I described my HWH system so I stand corrected, thank you.

We also have a 2008 Dynasty with the same leveling system. There is a known issue with the installation done by Monaco. They put a check valve close to the compressor that should be at the tank. Valid has a tech sheet for this problem and they have the parts. The tech support is one of the engineers! The tank for the system is located at the rear of the MH close to the rear axle. I am not near my unit for a month or so but I think it is on the RH side. If your system starts to act strange pull the fuse in the front run bay for 5 or 10 minutes. At times I wish for systems that are plain jane! If you are losing air it is likely leaking at the air compressor. Installing a check valve at the rear cures that problem. Call Valid and you will be happy and level!

We had a problem with our air system also. Our coach would raise up on the right rear side after it was leveled. The compressor would run about every 3 hours. I tried to use the hydraulic system to level and turned off the auto air level but it would still run. We did this hydraulic level one night and the next morning it had raise the coach off of the hydraulic ram on the right rear side. After calling Valid they gave me information to correct the problem. Turned out that there was trash in the air lines causing valves not to seat properly. Since all lines have been blown out and re tighten all is wel with the system. The compressor may come on once every couple of days.
