Anyone have a 2006 Monaco Dynasty that can answer general knowledge questions about the air level sytem. Like potential problems to look for. Where is the air pump located for the leveler, and how do you check to see if it is cycling?

The aux pump is located behind the front axle just about in the center of the coach. If you look behind one of the front tires you can see it just in front of the bulkhead where the fuel tank is located. You can hear it running inside the coach if you are up front close to the drivers seat or outside the coach close to the steer tires.

Thanks Steve, I will look and check to see if it is cycling as it should be, I have tried several times to get the coach completely level, but; each time the left side " if you are facing the coach" is slightly lower than the right side. Have you had this problem.

Aux pump on my 06 Dyn is located pass side just inside drive axle. Dumb move from the front SS10 location as it picks up a lot of road grime. I have mine wrapped in loose cell filter foam, and change the foam when I change air dryer filter.

While you're looking at the pump, check to make sure the pressure sensing switch was located in the right location. It should be located such that it is not on the wrong side of any check valve. On my Beaver, and I've heard the same from other Monaco brands, the sensor is located on the same line going between the air storage tank and the air compressor pump. This line should have a check valve at the tank as all air compressors will bleed down. This is the wrong place for the pressure sensor.

If you want to see if your air compressor is working, just open the bleeder valve on the bottom of the air storage tank and it will come on when the pressure drops below 90 psi. It will run until the tank is back to 120 psi.
