Awning Fabric Replacement

Hello, Trying to assist someone who owns a 2004 Holiday Rambler Endeavor with their Patio Awning. I cannot find instructions for removal of the end cap to access the awning fabric. Appreciate anyone owning one of these units to provide a source for procedures to remove the awning fabric. The model number on the awning is BN3N4. Thanks

Using Google, I've determined that you are working on some model of Carefree awning. I found this statement "Carefree of Colorado-Most every Carefree of Colorado awning will have this number on one of the arms: BN3N4. This is NOT a model number. For replacement parts for Carefree awnings the most effective method, is sending pictures of the part your need, or bringing the part to us. For replacement fabrics, we need the measurement from center to center of each awning arm. For replacement hardware, we need the measurement from center of the top bracket to center of the bottom bracket"
at the link below:

RV Parts and Accessories in Mississippi | S & S Apache Camping Center

If your friend has the build sheet or window sticker for his motorhome, it may list the model name for the Carefree awning. If you just want replacement fabric, there are several companies that will help with identifying the awning and supplying replacement fabric.

You can look at the link below for Carefree technical documention for their models of awnings. Once you find the awning, you can click to get technical documentation including parts. This will give you info on disassembly of the awning roller end so that you can get the fabric removed. It generally requires placing a pin into the hole at the end of the roller to lock the spring in place before removal.

If you have a Carefree of Colorado and are having a problem finding someone to purchase from I had the same problem last summer. I called Carefree and you can't purchase directly from them. Here is the name and phone number of the people I ordered from. They are right down the street from Carefree of Colorado so I got quick answers to all my questions. I live in California and there was no where to find and install and awning. I didn't want to do it myself. Good luck with your installation. Here's the name and phone number.
