The awning over the street side slide of coach last night wouldn't retract properly. Turned the power switch on and then pressed the RET side of the toggle switch and it started coming in - I stopped it for a second and then when I pushed the EXT side of the toggle switch it went back out but didn't stop when I let the switch up. It went all the way out and then started back in. The EXT/RET switch wouldn't do anything so I turned the power switch off and it stopped. Turned the power switch back on and it continued to retract. Problem is that it wound the awning the wrong way and won't close up in the cover. Now it won't move at all. I'm thinking either the switch or the realy module went bad - any ideas? I have a tech coming out in the next day or two to look at it and will post results. Anybody have this problem let me know if you figured it out.

Okay - after reading the owner's manual again (something like asking directions) I found where there was an external control switch on the bottom of the front arm. Turned on the Awning power On/Off button and pressed the external switch and BAM! the awning went out an once it was out the internal (remote) switch worked fine. I guess that when the awning retracted the wrong way the internal ext/ret switches didn't work. Don't fully understand this but at least the awning works an I didn't have to pay out to have a technician come out and tear it apart. That's it for this one.
