While in Amarillo we experienced some very high winds and even though I kept them closed as much as possible, one slide awning ripped right next to the motor home for about a foot. Is there an easy repair or is this a professional only repair?

if you can afford a couple of inches less, you can get the repair done at any boat top or upholstery shop, take off the fabric with the piping (plastic cord) at each ends, cut the fabric at the rip and restitch the fabric over the piping , and reinstall. VOILA
