The pic. on my dash tv is showing backwords, in otherwords when it shows a car on the driver side it's really on the pass. side. Is that the way it works? Thks. Chuck & Cissy

There should be a way to change the view. There is a small switch on mine which will change it several ways.

On my unit (Zone defense),

I have a button on my remote control to reverse the video from right to left or top to bottom. But it does not show it on the build in menu.
Ciao.

I had 1999 Diplomat that had a rear veiw that jumped back and forth from left to right, the first time it happened I was cruising up I-5 near Kelso, looked in the mirror to see a car passing on drivers side, looked at monitor and saw same car passing on shoulder!, there was a switch on the back of the monitor(very hard to get to) it did not help in my case and monitor finally gave up and had to replace whole system.

Has someone been working on the monitor or in the area of the gen set? If so look in the gen area and you can see the cables that come from the side cams, if they are long enough they may have been plug in wrong at the connection where they go into the fire wall. If the monitor was out just reverse the plugs on the monitor. Happen to me once and that was the prob. Hope this helps. Merry Christmas

Edit: I assume you are talking about a three camera system??

It's called Mirror Image. I have no idea how someone would use it but it was set to Mirror on my Monaco when I bought it. Freaked me out first time I started to pull off the interstate only to see a car 'beside' me where the exit ramp should be!

If you scroll through the Menu you should see a setting for Mirror. Change this and all should be well.

It looks like I have to get to the back of my monitor to change a switch. I can't see anyway to pull the monitor out of the dash, so I guess I'll have to tip the dash section out to get to the back. I need to do it anyway to add a ground wire to the gage cluster. His anyone done dash removal project. I'm a little afraid to try it. Thks, Chuck & Cissy

My backup unit is a Jensen RCS 50A. My owners manual shows two switches on the back, that change from mirror image to regular image. I guess I'll try a light and mirror to see if I can see it from under the dash. Thks, Chuck
