Backup Cam is sick?

Seems lately every time I start out, my rear cam starts flickering like it is having an aneurism! Then after about ten minutes it settles down and I can see my toad...but backwards left to right. Any setting I can change? Thanks all.

I hope you get an answer Mike, as I have a similar issue on our coach for the rear camera. Although, it flickers in the main video screen only and not in the smaller auxiliary monitor on the center console. I believe in my case it is related to the video switch device which is integrated with the infotainment system by River Park. I say that since the side cameras are always clear, meaning no flicker, but they are occasionally blank when selected by the turn signal. As I say, likely a video switcher issue for me. I wonder if loose or tarnished video connections might be suspect in your case. Wish I had a definitive answer for you - best of luck.

I had the same problem, went to Ace and got a tube of Dielectric Grease and put it on all of the pins. Now it works great.

Did you put the grease on monitor end or camera end?

Took the dash cover off then I just took apart the main cable and I think there was 6 pins put the grease on them not a lot then screwed it back together. I have not done the rear camera but it is on the to do list.
