Bad ECM on Detroit Diesel?? no cruise/jake

I have no cruise and no Jake brake.
I ran all the smartwheel tests AND replaced the module because when I shook the cables, all hell broke loose with wipers and lights.
Now the module and clockspring seem good and the testing of the J11 plug testing shows all signals getting to the module.
The cruise light on the dash lights up when it's turned on but the Aladdin system doesn't see the cruise is on.

After the smartwheel module it appears the cruise wires go to the ECM.
The Jake brake also goes to the ECM.

Is there any way to test the ECM??

Just for 1 more snag, I also have the vorad system that is throwing no active codes and appears to work properly.

Just a quick , hint , " when all hell broke loose " is there any chance you blew a fuse on another chassis system ( e.g. brake lights ) for safety reasons some chassis have to have working brake lights in order for the cruise to engage . There may be a cross over to the Jake brake as well .

I have a troubleshooting manual for the Jake Brake.
It too big to attach here, but if you want it PM with your e-mail address. The manual is dated 7/95 so I don't know how relevant it still is. It only covers up to the Detroit 92 series era.

Finally have all fixed.

The Jake brake had 2 wires pushed back in the switch connector so they weren't making contact.

The cruise had a loose ground wire for the brake circuit. Checked all the nuts for the ground bar under the drivers seat and found a few others to be loose too.
