Where do i find these gas struts that lifts up the baggage door.
There is 2 such gas struts that holds a baggage door up.

I took them out and it reads: stabilus lift-o-mat
It has numbers on it: 1605ER 0390N 096/00 B 27
On a separate line it has: FPN11F

I measured it center to center in expanded: 19-5/8"
I measured it closed : about 12"
The thick rod is about 3/4"
The thin rod is about 1/4"

There is no lbs rating but the baggage door is fairly heay.

Look on E-bay. There are lots of people selling them. Just be sure of the size. Or go on the RV parts sites, but usually are more expensive.

Here is a link that MH Manufacturers use... I bought prop rods from them and were very helpful

Take your sample to your local Auto parts store-you can save some bucks.

That's exactly what I would do. Our Diplomat have needed replacements twice and both times a local auto store have ordered one for us - same day delivery and at a VERY reasonable price as well.
