I had a brush with a tree recently that left 2 of the right side baggage doors damaged. Does anyone know where I can purchase new doors? I dread the thought of having to have something custom made, and my bodyshop says they are bent beyond repair.

I have a 07 Comelot, & had to purchase a door from Monaco -- $750.00, plus crating, & shipping -- Add a bunch more for painting -- You MAY, get out of your fix for $2000.00 -- Been there, done that -- Lot`s of luck -- Bill Willard

Thanks Bill...Nice to hear that Monaco might still be able to provide the parts. I knew it wasn't going to be cheap. I suppose that will teach me to pay a bit more attention until I am actually "on the road".

For what it is worth, I damaged one of my cargo doors and had it repaired at Buddy Gregg's in Knoxville. They straightened the frame and ordered a new skin. The skins are glued on with a special glue. Looks like brand new. If you can find a body shop like Buddy Gregg's that deals only with RV's they might have more experience with repairing cargo doors. A tree fell on us a few weeks ago and Buddy Gregg is going to re-skin the top of the slideout because a limb made a big hole in it.

From the depths of my parts links, try:

Tri-Metal Fabrication
Monaco supplier
3825 W 11th Ave #B
Eugene, OR 97402
Mike McCormick

mtrimetfab@yahoo.com

I have heard that they made most of the bay doors for Monaco.
