Basement heater

Does anyone know where I can purchase the original DC wet bay heater? My coach has original plugs but someone removed it prior to my purchase. I'd prefer the original as the mounting hardware and power plug is ready.

Chances are that someone removed your heater because it was broken. Their reputation for reliability is not good at all. I have personally had 3 of them and will not be buying another one - especially at the price they have been asking.

looks like a small bolt with a few nuts. you have to duct down and look up under the dump vavles. the heaters dont seam to last that long, maybe from the dampness in the wet bay?

I would forget replacing the DC heater as it is only necessay if you are driving in very cold weather and not even then if you have the generator on. Purchase a small cube heater with a thermostat that is the same size as the missing 12 VDC heater. Run a high quality extension cord carefully secured away from moving suspension back to the block heater outlet near the engine. As long as you have AC power your wet bay will not freeze. The 12 VDC Bay Heater is only 300 watts and one of the most unreliable devices I have encountered in my nearly 50 years of working with electrical and electronic devices.

Here is a photo of my wet bay. You can see the 110 VAC heater I have installed next to the 12 VDC Bay Heater. I repaired the 12 VDC Bay Heater but it almost never is used because I run the generator while travling. The most common mistake made with AC generators is not to use them enough.
