batteries again

i noticed many members on the forum talk of adding water to the sealed engine batteries. talked with the help desk and they don't recommend it. with our 05 diplomat, i looked at the two engine sealed batteries and don't know how i could take the tops off of them and add water. the batteries are 05 versiona and still ok. should i try to add water to them???

Nope, I tried once. You can't put the sealed top back on once you pop it off.

bcjerry....I have an 05 Diplomat and the caps are very easy to remove. Fighting around the cables can be a little tough. You can feel the edge of the caps on one side and the other has a label over it. Take a razor and slice through the label. Pry the caps up and fill them. I did mine several months ago and they were low on water. I eventually put Thermoil in all of mine and cut my battery acid issues way down.

I have removed the caps and put the caps of the batteries back on ...as seen in the following photos..





If Mama can do it ...anyone can do it!!
