Ours had an over charge situation where the house batteries boiled over and pretty much peeled the paint off the side walls in the battery compartment. I just finished ours about 2 months ago. I sanded everything and then used the Por-15. I just painted it on with a brush. Not the best looking finish however I did it so that it would not rust through the bottom. Great job by the way to the OP.

I'll ask the big question.... What was the co$t of those batteries? I am looking to upgrade house batts / amp hours in my Endeavor. THXZ TB
