Question Battery Boost Solenoid part#

Hey folks,

My battery boost solenoid switch has gone out. Does anyone know the part number? MH is in storage and I’m out of town.

Thanks ahead of time,

Romr

You don't mention your motorhome year/brand/model, but for my 2009 Monaco Cayman the part number is1141211020. Here is a link to buy it on Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Good luck!

Ron

REALLY need your coach make, year and model!! You said, your "battery boost solenoid switch" went out. Are you saying the switch has failed, or the solenoid has failed. Also, several previous commenters have shown a solenoid device that their coaches use. There are also many coaches "out there" that use a Big Boy solenoid device manufactured by Intellitec. The differences are significant.

Share your coach information before you buy anything based upon the above comments, or my comments, and you may save yourself a lot of hassle and expense.

Romr, I am always astounded by posts like this. I assume you just want random answers about what every possible type of motorhome uses for a boost solenoid.

Put your coach details in our signature and never have to do it again.

Romr has a 2001 Dynasty Duke, non tag coach.

I'm guessing you need the Intellitec isolater relay (Big Boy relay) in the rear run box. Some of us have replaced these many times.

Intellitec part # 7790006120 Relay

Hello Jim,

2001 Monaco Dynasty 36”
350 Cummins 8.3L

The mobile RV repair guy said it was the solenoid. He used jumper cables and attached to either side thereby bypassing the unit and the battery boost switch on the console added the house batteries.

Hey Vito,

Yep, it’s located in the rear run box. Mine doesn’t look like your Big Boy, mine has the posts/connections around the OD instead of the top or bottom. Not sure if it matters or if there is room for that one.

Stick it in your signature and you'll never have to do it again. Also helps get fewer, more targeted answers if you include any specifics in the subject.

While we are talking about how to get good answers, post a picture. Someone will recognize it.
