Thumbs down Battery Disconnect Switch

Hi, my gas Class A Monaco Monarch has been sitting in storage a few months, and the 4 house batteries have apparently gone dead. The engine starts fine, but nothing else lights or works. As far as I know, I had the battery disconnect switch turned to "Off", but it uses a little green light to let you know, and it is off, and nothing changes when I flip the switch back and forth.

(A) How can I tell what the "correct" position is?

(B) If I move the rig and plug it into shore power again, will it recharge the house batteries when the battery disconnect switch is "Off", ie. in the wrong position? or do I have to find the "correct" position to have it recharge? (if so, then back to question A again)

thanks for your help!!

Test your batteries with a meter. If they read above roughly 12.3 volts, they are not dead. Could be your disconnect relay stuck from sitting. Tap it lightly with a hammer.

The battery disconnect switch may not shut every thing off. My 98 Dynasty has things that bypass the disconnect switch. The best way is to pull the ground cable off.
For long shut downs it is a good idea to put a trickle charger on the batteries as they
will slowly lose charge with no drain
