Looking at my inverter in the basement I can see a line that is labeled for the
BTS but when I look at my battery bank I don't see the wire anywhere. The manual says it should be attached to the battery to sense temperature. Is there another way Monaco was attaching the sensor to get a read on temp? The other question is if it is to be attached to the battery does it get attached to the positive or negative post or does it matter. I have the Magnum Inverter.

Thanks

I also have the Magnum on our '06 HR Endeavor and the temp sensor is attached to the negative lead on the house battery bank. Do you see a telephone type wire attached to your battery bank. If not, it looks like it was never attached or was removed at some point.

Some temperature sensors are connected to a battery terminal and some are attached with tape to the side of a battery. I have had both types.

I took another look and indeed did find the telephone type wire connected to a battery ground. Took a while to find it but it's there.
Thanks
