FYI......Beaudry RV closed its doors on Friday, October 1, 2010 and Beaudry RV Resort will be closed on Monday, October 11. 2010. We are here now attending Monaco America Rally.....Great Time.....Great People. Very sad for all Beaudry employees...the mgt informed us last night that all coaches must be out of park by 5pm on sunday.

I thought there was more than one Beaudry RV; am I wrong? Are you talking about the one between Phoenix and Tucson? Isn't there a Camping World there also? I am in Casa Grande presently and had planned to go to Camping World next week. Any information will be appreciated.

Beaudry has several dealerships across the country. The closing probably does not affect the CW stores. The only closing that I am aware of is the one in Chandler Az. but others could affected. It might be best to give CW a call.

Check the Beaudry Website for the complete details, here is the stuff about location closures:

" we have made the decision to temporarily suspend operations at both the Tucson and Chandler retail stores while we continue the ongoing turnaround project presently underway. The Body Shop and RV Resort will remain open during this restructuring period. Service in both locations will complete current work, in order to satisfy loyal Beaudry RV customers.
As many of you know, we have nearly completed reconditioning at the previous Main Street location. Our intent is to reopen that store by October 30, 2010. In addition, we will be working diligently to reopen the Tucson store before the end of 2010, in order to reassemble our capable staff in time to serve our historical "winter visitors!"

Spike.....Their website is not accurate. We just spent 6 days at Beaudry RV Resort in Tucson. The Sales and Service departments were closed October 1 and the RV park will close Monday October 11. All the people camping were given notice to be out by 5PM sunday night. Camping World was still opened.....I do not think they are affected.

We just learned of the Beaudry RV Resort closing in Tucson. We had reservations there in mid to late March. In the past, we have had a problem finding a good RV park for our 40 foot Monaco. Is anyone aware of any nice parks in the Tucson area?

Many of the parks in Tucson are far away from the city. The ones that are close are older. Filled with park models and tight spaces. There are 2 newer parks a few off Higway 19. Desert parks but the web sites look nice. One is Justin's Diamond------. I dont recall the name of the other one. Depending on where you want to go in Tucson could be a 30 minute drive. For years when we had 2 or 3 days in Tuson we too stayed at Beaudry's. Very sad. That is an expensive piece of property to leave empty. Probably tied up in the courts or with the banks!

We have spent the last three winters at the same place and enjoy it. Our rig is not as long, but many of the 40' rigs stay here without issue.

I also forget the name of the Bistro. The food was amazing and inexpensive. The chef had worked in Europe. I think it closed over 2 years ago.
