Beaver air dump

I did a little searching but am kinda lazy today lol. What is the proper procedure/key position or whatever for dumping the air bags on my 04 Monterrey before lowering the RVA jacks? When I push the dump button nothing ever seems to happen. In the past it has worked at least once. I know when I lower the jacks it will dump air while the jacks is extending. I don't think the solenoid is bad I think I am doing it wrong. I know there are at least of couple of folks here that have the same coach.

Do you have the IGN switch in the On position when you press the Dump button?

I did try that. Started rig, aired up, jacks up, key off, slides in, start rig, hop spots. Pull in, key off, slides out, key on (not started) push dump button nothing happens, lower jacks and can hear air dumping while jacks are coming down. key off dump button doesn't work, key back on pump brakes to dump air and level with jacks. Am I doing it right ?
I know the slides won't work with the key on and the jacks won't work with the key off.
The dump button has worked before I just don't remember how I made it happen. I have been remodeling for a few weeks but actually camping in it is new to me

The manual only says the IGN must be On or in ACC position to Dump the Air.
Possibly your manual Dump switch is bad. I would assume the dump valves are okay since air dumps when the leveling system is activated.

Update :

I pulled the switch finally and a couple of wires came out of one of the the connectors. Put on a new connector and the switch now works. It only works with the key in the ACC position however.
