Hello. I’m researching a freshly traded in 1999 Beaver Contessa. It’s not near me so I could use a bit of help. It’s a no slide 40 ft coach from 99 which I believe makes it a Viano? When I asked engine hp they responded 246. Does not sound like any CAT 3126 I have heard about. Is there a possibility it’s correct? If so I would pass as it would be underpowered. I know of a nicely done Patriot Trenton for sale at 37 ft long and it’s only 3k more with a 330 hp Cat and a host of improvements that take the book value well into the price they want. I think they are asking too much for the Contessa anyhow but if the HP can be verified as good to go I may make them an offer. It does look very nice inside and the copious photos they sent convinced the wife it is worth looking into. Plus it’s lots closer than the Trenton. Thanks in advance.

The one I was interested in had floor damage around toilet, Probably a bad seal. We would have to replace a good portion of the floor. Entryway was needing repair too. That plus spotty records and I am passing. I have seen quite a few that look a lot nicer for the same if not lower money. Thank you for the link. At least I know what the Contessa series is as opposed to the patriots. That alone was worth this thread thank you
