Do any of you use BioDiesel fuel in your MH? What are your experiences?

Are there modifications necessary to make to the Cummins engine burn bio fuels?

I believe Cummins said you can run up to 10% biodiesel without voiding your warranty. They may allow more as it becomes more prevalent and they can test it.

Cummins allows B5 on all engiines and B20 on some with conditions.

This fuel service bulletin will answer your question - drill down to Bio-diesel

If you have not run bio-diesel before or your coach has contaminants in the tank, you may experience fuel filter plugging up since bio-diesel has very effective solvent properties. As a FWIW, My diesel pickup had over 135K on it when I first used a 20% bio blend and had no problems.

I've tried biodiesel a few times, twice with B5 and once with B20 in our Endeavor with the ISL. Fuel tank was between 1/4 and 1/2 all three times and it ran fine. Since my engine has less the 20k miles tank and fuel system issues were not likely to be impacted by the bio.
