I just use lots of water. I put 10 gallons in the black tank,(40 gallon tank), immediately after flushing so "stuff" does not hit the plastic bottom. The tanks are sloped a bit so if you don't put some water in there everything just sits in a pile like an open pit toilet.

I wish my gray tank had a flusher as well. Some high end coaches now have them and in m y experience the gray can smell worse than the black and the greasy stuff that goes in it is probably worse for the sensors.

It should come standard on all RVs
