Bolt down furniture

The previous owner of our Monaco Diplomat 36D chose to cover the mounting area(s) of the original recliner with ceramic tile instead of spending the money to replace the recliner. We need that seating and have no idea how to find the original mounts in the floor. Alternatively, can anyone advise me as how to mount a recliner with seat belt permanently.

Are you sure that it was bolted down? My coach is a 2000 HR Endeavor 40 PBD. I have an optional recliner that sits in the same location, but it is not bolted down and is not designed to be bolted down. That part of my floor is carpeted, which allows the recliner to be moved without damaging the flooring. Your brochure lists a swivel barrel chair as standard equipment and a reclining chair as optional.

Accessing the floor structure from below, looking for steel structure that supports bolting down a piece of furniture and/or seatbelt, seems likely to be the least destructive path.

Thank you for your input. The original information I was given was erroneous. My concern is to add safe / seat belted seating to the current 5
belted seats. I'm new to this and I appreciate the help / information posted. Thank You

it's my opinion that it's going to be very hard to make the recliner a very safe underway seating position.

If you have a dining booth it should already have belts under the cushions and attached to the floor. ( if that was your question )

Decided on large booth to add safe seating. Would like input on floor composition / best way to bolt down /install seat belts.

My 98 Dynasty had lag bolts to hold it down and I drilled right through the
floor and cut some 1/8 plate into 4 inches squares to use as washers to make
it safer.That is what I would do if you want to put seat in the dinette.
