Brake Lights Not Working

Hello Again Family,

Just noticed yesterday, that my brake lights are not working on our rig, but they are working on our tow vehicle. That seemed a bit strange. Any ideas what may be going on?

(04 Monaco Dynasty)

Thanks Again

Not much to go on, but at first blush, I would suspect the ground for the lamps at the rear of your coach. Looking at the schematic for our '06 Dynasty, it looks like each side may have it's own ground, but they may be tied together and grounded at one point. On our coach, that same ground is used for the tail lights, as well. Try your headlights and see if your tail lights are lit. If they are, then the ground may not be the issue.

Since your two brake lights are working, you have brake lights at the RRB, so I'm suspecting the problem is back there. That rules out 40' of your coach, so that's a good thing, right?
