I have a friend who has an 06 Diplomat. His brake lights stay on and only way he can keep batteries from running down is to turn off power to coach. Any ideas what could cause this? I am sure he would appreciate any ideas. Thanks in advance for any help

On my Monaco I have two brake light switches in the generator compartment on the drivers side just visible at the top corner of the opening as far forward as you can go. Try disconnecting the plugs one at a time and see if they go out. The exhaust brake can stick on and keep the brake lights on and the engine brake (if they have one) can turn them on.

On my Workhorse that happened when the brake light switch failed.

Depending on the switch, might be an easy fix.
