Brake Rotors for Roadmaster 2006 Camelot

Good Day All. Have my Coach in repair facility, one Brake rotor is cracked and other show small cracks. Need to replace however, the shop here is having trouble sourcing and of course the New Monaco washes their hand of all this and offers no help:banghead. Says it is a Roadmaster problem and does not offer help. Anyone have this repair done and where did your repair people located the required parts/rotors. Thanks so much for your attention to this. ALL THE BEST !!!

Ihope you are not having the repairs at an rv facility. Any decent truck repair shop can source those parts. They are not speciall. Just off the shelf hd truck parts.

Some cracking is allowable on Bendix rotors.
For standard Bendix rotors, cracks running in a radial direction like spokes of a wheel (see Area H) less than 0.06 in. (1.5 mm) deep or wide are acceptable if they do not reach either edge (see G). Cracks are only acceptable if the length of the crack is less than 75% of dimension f (the width of the rotor contact area).

See page 8 in the Bendix repair manual.

thanks Moisheh: Yes I am at a heavy Truck repair unit, they are very good but are having trouble sourcing, none here in Saskatoon Canada for Roadmaster it appears, we have Freightliner etc. available to us. Just can not understand why this so difficult as there are thousands of Roadmaster Chassis on the road. :

You could try FGI,fort gary industries or Ernies truck and trailer. A good parts house does not need a listing for rotors. They can be identifird by dimensions. Sometimes there are casting numbers.

Rolly, you will not find any Roadmaster chassis service centers. Roadmaster chassis was proprietary to Monaco Coach Corp which closed the doors in Apr 2009.

However, they used parts common to trucks and buses so the rotors are available.

This is a link to a thread with the brake parts breakdown for a 2007 Camelot:
Brake Rotor Purchase

Rolly. There should be a tag on the front axle with a name and part number for the axle. Call that mfr. I could not get the link in that last post to open.

Axle model doesnt help - you need brake assembly/model number. I.e. ESD-225 or ABD-22X, etc.

If ESD-225 like my 2005 Beaver, then this is the parts list (which may be same for the ABD-22X since that was the successor to the ESD and there's not a lot of difference).

Thanks for all your input, Much appreciated, I have learned this AM that my truck repair facilty has finally found the rotors by axle producer. This axle builder has a outlet in Edmonton, AB . Just can not figure out why it took them so long ,good thing I had no where to be LOL. I had informed them after discussion here about the comments made and then of course the Owner took charge as employees were somewhat lost in how to source. Safe Travels Everyone
