BrakeSwitch
Has any one installed this switch. This works with your Exhaust Braking the Exhaust Brake will deploy when you touch the brake pedal and release when you touch the throttle. Thanks

Yep, I just installed it. It's a great product! Now I can take my foot off the throttle and the MH will coast. If I want to engage the exhaust brake I just press the brake pedal momentarily. Very simple to install!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

I also installed a Brake Switch on my Cummins powered coach and love it. However if you have a Caterpillar engine, a Cat dealer can accomplish the same thing through reprogramming to what is called latch mode. After I installed mine I have heard that a Cummins can also be reprogrammed.

I assume you are speaking about an after market add-on?
What is the brand and model # ?
Is this a DIY install?
Thanks!

This is a great product at a very reasonable price. You can install it yourself very easily.
Brakeswitch, A better way to manage your diesel exhaust brake

Roy, even better, it allows you to drive with the cruise control pn and Exhaust Brake switch turned on. On your coach, it should kill the cruise control when you turn the exhaust brake SWITCH on.

The guy that makes these boxes is super nice and really seems
to know coach wiring.
He helped me over the phone til I got it.
It kinda automates your air brakes. Very happy with mine.

Be very careful,if the wiring diagram that comes with it is the same as your moho you SHOULD be OK,BUT if it does not match, be warned, even if the old guy that makes them, helps you with the wiring it MAY cause you some major problems,It took out my ECM on our 2003 Safari to the tune of $ 3,000 and he would not take any blame,I wired it the way he said to.BEWARE.
